Opening and closing state is a crucial factor of disconnector monitoring. We propose a new attitude detection method and a corresponding algorithm model that enables us to monitor the operation status of the disconnector. For the attitude solution of the disconnector, quaternion to Euler angle transformation of MPU9250 was used to obtain the attitude model. In addition, this paper demonstrates two error compensation algorithms that can effectively solve the static drift and temperature drift of attitude angle. The results of the experiment carried out on the disconnector indicate that the algorithm is advisable in attitude solutions.
