With the acceleration of the information age, the transition from IPv4 to IPv6 has become inevitable and urgent. Nowadays, the demand for roaming network connection is increasing. The use of IPv6 can not only solve the problem of the number of network address resources, but also solve the obstacles for a variety of access devices to connect to the Internet. Even so, IPv6 protocol workflow does not take security into account. We propose a terminal management method based on IPv6 cross domain roaming. By establishing a hierarchical management framework and adopting a centralized and distributed AAA Authentication System, the roaming registration update and authentication localization can be realized, so as to reduce the roaming handover delay and ensure the security of the registration process.
