In this article we describe the design and preliminary measurement results of a new genetic algorithm (GA) based software package designed to optimize the timing performance of switch capacitor array waveform digitizers. We will report on the vast improvements in performance from previous methods and provide results for the optimization of two different waveform digitizers.
