In order to circumvent blind attempt of different cancellation algorithms during the disturbance cancellation in noise frequency modulated continuous (FMCW) system, the relationship between the direct-clutter echoes cancellation ratio (DCR) and the noise floor variant of correlation output after cancellation is analyzed and quantified. Furthermore, the range of noise floor of correlation output after cancellation is derived. By observing intuitively the noise floor after cancellation, one can concluded that whether or not the cancellation algorithm performs well. The experiment results indicate that theoretical analysis is approximately in agreement with specific algorithm measurement.
