Love waves in the cylindrically piezoelectric substrate loaded with a conductive polymer are studied analytically. The governing equations can be transformed into the general form of Bessel equation and three dimensional Laplace equation. The coupled wave equations are solved and dispersion equations are obtained by using continuity conditions on the interface and the boundary conditions on the surface of the structures. The relationship between phase velocity and frequency can be calculated and presented. The effects of viscosity on phase velocity can be figured and discussed.
