Specific emitter identification (SEI) is an identification technique that identify the transmitting device with the hardware imperfection. However, the identification features are influenced by the receiver distortions and can be different when the receivers are changed. Previous SEI studies rarely concern the method to normalize the distortions among different receivers. To solve this problem, a SEI receiver normalization method is proposed. In the proposed method, a frequency-domain adaptive equalization system is contained to normalize the distortions in receivers. According to the experiment, this method can effectively eliminate the SEI feature difference caused by receivers. Then the robust of the proposed method is discussed.
