Copper foil and aluminum foil were used as the current collectors of lithium-ion battery anode materials. The assembled button cells were charge-discharged in the voltage range of 0.01V~3V and 1v~3v. Comparing the charge-discharge cycle and rate performance results, it is found that when the aluminum foil is used as the current collector of the lithium titanate anode, the cycle stability and rate performance of the battery are affected. When charging and discharging in a voltage range of 0.01 V~3 V, the aluminum foil will be pulverized, and the life of the battery will be sharply reduced. By preparing a sandwich type composite electrode, it is found that aluminum-lithium alloy such as LiAl, Li_3Al_2, or Li_4Al_3 which is formed by oxidative decomposition of aluminum foil at a low potential will scatter around the active material to hinder the Li^+ insertion/de-insertion ability.
