There is a conversion of kinetic energy to electric energy during the process of metro braking, a grid-connected inverter based on three-phase full bridge circuit is proposed to maintain the bus voltage and recover the braking energy. The power of the inverter is 400 kW, which can return energy to the grid with a unit power factor. At first, the proposed grid-connected inverter is realized by using the MATLAB/SIMULINK. Then, it is designed based on the TMS320F28335. Finally, experimental results highlight the effectiveness of the grid-connected inverter.
