In this paper we discuss a way, how to analyze time until the occurrence of anastomotic leak. The main goal of this study is to find risk factors for time until the occurrence of anastomotic leak. Our approach is based on an application of survival analysis and nonparametric predictive inference. This analysis has been implemented by the software R.
