It is great significance to improve the automobile power characteristics, reduce the emission of the engine and improve the efficiency of fuel utilization by controlling the electronic throttle. In this paper, a nonlinear compensation controller is designed to improve tracking performance and restrain the oscillation caused by nonlinear perturbation. A system computer simulation and hardware in the loop simulation are carried out by simulink box and connecting the electronic throttle to the system to verify the feasibility of the nonlinear compensation controller. The simulation results show that the nonlinear compensation control system is significantly better than traditional PID system. The designed nonlinear compensation control throttle system has shorter regulating time, smaller overshoot and certain robustness.
