In this paper, the non-probabilistic reliability analysis method based on the finite elements mass change (FEMC) strategy is proposed. This method could conquer the difficulties caused by the strong nonlinearity of the material and geometry, and it is verified by solving the dynamic reliability index of the flexible net. Especially in the FEMC model of a flexible net, the mass change factor obtained by the improved artificial bee colony algorithm could get the best result in the balance of the computation efficiency and the reliability accuracy. This method can obtain the accuracy of the result as well as the high efficiency in the complex reliability problem.
