This paper mainly studies the control method of the catamaran with T-foil. Lineared the nonlinear mathematical model of a catamaran, establish the catamaran control model with T-foil, the seasickness rate function is used as the optimization index, and the controller is designed by the method of predictive control. Through the experimental data of a specific catamaran model to analysis. In case of naked ship and in case of installing T-foil with controller, compared the heave and pitch changes, the inhibition rate of seasickness. Verified the model predictive control is proposed for the catamaran longitudinal motion and the improvement of this algorithm is practical.
