In order to achieve the integration of ac/dc output in the aircraft power system, a novel single-input/dual-output indirect matrix converter (IMC) is proposed in this paper. Based on the fact that a real dc-link is formed in IMC, the proposed topology realizes dc output by inserting a simple two transistor forward converter (TTFC) into the dc-link. Its modulation strategy is composed of two parts, including conventional space vector modulation (SVM) for IMC and coordinate modulation between TTFC and rectifier stage. The proposed circuit based on IMC has advantages such as compact structure, independent ac/dc output each other and stable dc output voltage. Besides, sinusoidal input/output for IMC and zero current switching (ZCS) in rectifier stage are still retained. Simulation results are given to verify the feasibility of proposed topology and its modulation strategy.
