In this paper we present the design of an autopilot for roll angle displacement of an aircraft to a desired orientation using real flight data. Matlab Robust Control Toolbox is used for the synthesis of the stabilizing K controller. The model plant is partitioned in terms of the number of perturbations, the number of control inputs, the number of errors, and the number of outputs. Experimental results are presented for a Radio Controller Radlian Pro model aircraft.
