The plantar pressure of the human body during dynamic motion was collected by a set of pressure sensors, and used to extract the kinetic and dynamic characteristics of gait. Fuzzy C-means clustering was applied to identify the plantar pressure according to the gait characteristics and a standard plantar pressure model was set up. Using the method of approach degree in pattern recognition, each new data sample was matched to the standard model. This method was carried out into the analysis of the anterior cruciate ligament deficiency and appeared to be effective.
