Researches on multi-scroll hyper chaotic systems, which present excellent activities in secure communication, are comparatively poor. There are no systematic design methods and current methods are difficult to deal with uncertainties. In this paper, an adaptive back stepping control is proposed. The adaptive updating laws are presented to approximate the uncertainties. The proposed method improves the robust performance of controller by only two control input. The asymptotical convergence of synchronization errors is proved to zero by Lyapunov functions. Finally, simulation examples are presented to demonstrated the effectiveness of the proposed synchronization control scheme and its validity in secure communication.
