Breakthrough innovation increasingly requires intense interaction that involves external parties jointly solving problems or exploring new opportunities. In healthcare, care coordination and transitions of care require coordination of patient care among multiple and often independent care settings that are often completely different systems of care, both professionally and institutionally. Multiparty cloud solutions and infrastructure management services require close collaboration by multiple vendors and the client particularly during times of transition. The aftermath of catastrophic events often involves impromptu groups of individuals from different organizations and backgrounds that collaborate to provide disaster relief. This minitrack explores inter-organizational collaboration, particularly in terms of multi-level dynamics and the role of information and communication technology in such dynamics. We celebrate any acceptable methodology and theory, and encourages any level of analysis and papers that take a cross-level perspective.
