A high-efficiency electrically small (with a physical size less than one hundredth of the wavelength) antenna is proposed. Numerical simulations show that near its resonance frequency the antenna exhibits a power gain around 0 dB. The asymptotic dependence of the magnetic permeability on the ratio between the dipole antenna length and carrier wavelength has been established and possesses an exponential-like character.
