In the present work, using Tween 80 as dispersant, acryl amide as monomer, biscrylamide as cross linking, MgO (20 mesh particle size) and TiC (50 nanometre particle size) as do pants, mesocarbon micro bead (MCMB) green bodies and sintered bodies which were used as tubular electrode support body of DMFC, were prepared with gel casting under carbon embedding condition. The performance of MCMB green bodies and sintered bodies was studied. Meanwhile, the morphology of green bodies and sintered bodies was analyzed. Experimental results showed that the surface of sintered bodies was smooth and had no deformation, while the holes produced by MgO do pants were beneficial to mass transfer for oxidation gas and water.
