The goal of the paper is to demonstrate, using Estonia as an example, some general and country-specific aspects of Medical Technology Management challenge, characteristic to a country transitioning from East European (Soviet Block) economy to Western technology and free market. The paper is based on implemented and proposed activities to meet the challenges.
