In the 2021 Tobacco Industry Cybersecurity and Informatization Work Conference, it was proposed to take “digital transformation as the main line and promote digital development” in order to improve the automation of batch management in the production process. Based on cyber-physical system technology, the batch circulation system for the whole silk making process was researched and applied to realize automatic batch circulation and save manpower. Microservice architecture is adopted to collect data inside the underlying PLC for upper-level use. The upper-level computer engineer station was used for human-computer interaction functions such as production monitoring, program maintenance, and application development. After using this system, the production was observed and data collected for a period of time. Compared with the manual mode, the average batch change time in the automatic mode was shortened by 10.89 minutes, and the standard deviation was reduced by 5.32; the moisture deviation was reduced by 0.152 in the automatic mode. The results showed that the time of each batch is more stable, and the batch change time has been significantly improved compared to manual operation after application of this system. The fluctuation of the batch moisture value in automatic mode was also smaller. At the level of material homogenization also had an improvement.
