The imbalance of neutral point potential in the three level T-type inverter can lead to an increase in harmonic current output from the power grid, exacerbating power losses of power devices, and other hazards, thereby affecting the reliability of the system. This article proposes an improved three-level hybrid FC+T-type inverter grid connection topology based on multi-objective optimization model predictive control, and verifies the feasibility of the control strategy for the proposed topology through MOSFET loss model. Finally, a comparison was made between the proposed three-level hybrid FC+T-type inverter and the traditional three-level T-type inverter using MATLAB/Simulink. The results showed that the three-level hybrid FC+T-type inverter can effectively improve the problem of neutral point imbalance, generate lower power loss, and output smaller harmonic current.
