Research in the area of antenna engineering increases exponentially due to huge demand of high data rate communication. Though the microstrip antenna size has been reduced for different applications still, challenge is lying with its performance in terms of gain and bandwidth. This work is proposed to design a single layer rectangular 4X4 planar array for higher gain. Different materials have been verified for the single element and is of proposed with PegaClad Series hydrocarbon based dielectric substrate for Sub6G application. The considered dielectric has the permittivity of 3.44, loss tangent of 0.0035. The dimension of the antenna structure is considered as $9 \times 9 \times 0.05 \mathrm{~cm}^{3}$. Corporate feed is given for sustainable radiation. For X-Band application the antenna found suitable including satellite communication, bio-medical, and military application. At 10.2GHz the gain found is 18.3dBi and shown in result section.
