This paper presents a computational model of a terahertz photoconductive antenna with different etching methods. With different etching methods, the effects of different substrate shapes on performance of photoconductive antenna are studied via its photocurrent response. The results indicate that terahertz radiation intensity could be greatly enhanced by etching on the lower half of the photoconductive substrate.
