The performance failure, represented by insufficient motion precise, of an airplane cabin door retraction mechanism is studied in this paper. Mathematic relationship of performance indicator and mechanism connecting rods’ sizes is derived by equal-length theory and mechanism principle. Archard model is used to describe the wear of revolution joints between rods. On the basis of this, the degeneration process of performance indicator is obtained. and performance reliability is studied.
