Multi-channel sampling time delay (STD) measurement and control is theoretically and experimentally demonstrated for time-wavelength interleaved photonic analog-to-digital converters. The intermediate frequency (IF) fixed frequency sweeping method is adopted to extract the phase shift of the down-converted IF signal for STD estimation. The experimental results demonstrate that the proposed method exhibits a measurement jitter of below 10 fs and a control accuracy of better than 25 fs within a short period.
