The price of used sailboats is always in flux and the variety of factors that affect their value makes it difficult to value them. The purpose of this paper is to develop a model for predicting the listing price of sailboats in order to help brokers estimate the value of used sailboats, with the expectation that we can provide them with some advice on pricing so that they can price used sailboats reasonably and scientifically and avoid unnecessary losses for both sides of the transaction. In order to improve the accuracy of the prediction for the price of sailboats. In this paper, a prediction model based on random forest is established for the prediction problem of used sailboat prices. And the method of hypothesis testing is applied to explore the degree of association between different features and the prediction model. The results show that the used sailboat price prediction model based on random forest established in this paper has high prediction accuracy and can better reflect the real price of used sailboats. And through the exploration, it can be learned that for the price of used sailboats, the brand has the greatest influence on the price of sailboats.
