In this paper, a filtering Gysel power divider (GPD) based on the quasi-bandpass sections is proposed, and the principle is described in detail. The number of passbands and the power dividing ratio (PDR) can be designed flexibly. To verify the feasibility of this design, dual-passband filtering GPD is designed under the conditions of 1:1 and 1:2 power dividing ratio respectively. The designed filtering GPD has low power distribution loss, high return loss, low insertion loss, high isolation and sharp rejection skirts under different power dividing ratio.
