This paper considers competitive interaction between two innovative processes, which is described using the “predator-prey” paradigm. The dynamic model of the economic system is presented as a system of two differential equations of the first order with quadratic nonlinearity. The influence of parameters of the system of differential equations on the evolutionary processes in the economic system, including the possibility of bifurcations, is studied. It is shown that such a system has two focuses and six limit cycles in the ratio 3:3. The proposed model makes it possible to predict the evolution path of the system as a result of the control action.
