The bacterial foraging algorithm is a new bionic algorithm with good performance in big data scheduling [4]. However, the traditional bacterial foraging algorithm has room for further improvement in the expressiveness of the algorithm because of the fixed step size and fixed action. Based on the traditional bacterial foraging algorithm, combined with the relevant requirements of big data scheduling, this paper further discusses and improves the performance of the bacterial foraging algorithm. Experiments show that the improved bacterial foraging algorithm has good performance in performance and response time compared with traditional algorithms.
