We demonstrate efficient optical parametric amplification in dispersion-engineered thin-film-lithium-niobate nanowaveguides. These devices exhibit parametric gains >30 dB/√pJ, enabling down-conversion of sub-10-pJ pump pulses to coherent 1.35-pJ idler pulses with a 140-nm-wide spectrum centered around 3200 nm.
