The localized intelligent secondary equipment arranged in the substation is often directly installed near the high voltage side. And high-voltage substations’ secondary side gathered large amount of localized electronic equipment. In the gas insulated switchgear (GIS) substation environment, the electromagnetic interference (EMI) at certain moments will exceeds the threshold specified in standards. This work tests transient and steady-state EMI in high-voltage substation of different voltage rate. And revealed the harsh EMI at the secondary side of substation will affect the electromagnetic immunity of the localized secondary electrical equipment.
