This study investigates terahertz (THz) water, highlighting its unique characteristics and diverse applications. THz waves, straddling the attributes of light and radio waves, enable material penetration and are non-hazardous to biological tissues. In the THz range, water resonantly absorbs these waves, improving solvation and inducing physical transformations. THz water, derived from natural minerals, escalates solvation and biological activity via resonating water molecules. Its bactericidal version exploits alkalinity and electrical properties to dissolve microbial cell membranes. The absorption attributes of water in the THz range allow substance detection and identification, while THz irradiation modifies molecular arrangements, potentially benefiting health and environmental realms. The study underscores the potential of THz water across multiple fields.
