Using IGBT modules in parallel can improve the switching module capacity level of large capacity conversion devices. When IGBTs are used in parallel, current sharing problems will occur, affecting the overall stability of the system. This paper proposes a different voltage amplitude and synchronous gate signal driving control method to improve current sharing characteristics. PSpice simulation analysis and parallel driving control experiments of two IGBT modules have been conducted, and it is concluded that the different voltage amplitude and synchronous gate signal driving control method has significant improvement effects on parallel current sharing issues, providing a certain basis for future research.
