In a power grid, the power quality generated by pollution sources has some correlation in the process of transmission between different nodes. A correlation analysis method of power quality time series based on grey relational degree is proposed to analyze the propagation rules of power quality pollution. Piecewise linear representation method is adopted to remove data noises and to extract local characteristics of the time series. Grey correlation analysis is introduced to calculate the correlation degree of power quality time series among the nodes, thereby determining the power quality transmission path in the power grid. A simulation example is implemented to verify the effectiveness and rationality of the correlation analysis method of power quality time series.
