One of the leading causes of car crashes throughout the globe is drunk driving, sometimes known as DUI. Most of the fatalities can be attributed to drunk driving. Our suggested technique in this study is meant to identify drunk drivers as soon as possible. Distracted driving is a major threat to everyone on the road, including the drivers and passengers in the vehicles involved. In this study, we suggest a system that not only checks for the presence of alcoholic beverages and alerts the appropriate parties through the internet when they are discovered to be present. For our infrastructure, we opted for an Arduino-based, internet-of-things-based circuit framework. The system is equipped with a MQ3 alcohol sensor to monitor the driver's drinking and trigger the car's starter mechanically. Location and beverage composition are among the variables that will be updated on the cloud server. This ensures that there will be no miraculous alcohol-related accidents. The programme was designed so that if a driver is intoxicated and requires assistance, a sober passenger can take the wheel. This method aims to ensure the safety of the driver as well as the general public and reduce the number of deaths caused by drunk driving as well as the workload of law enforcement.
