Conventional source of energy is a major source to meet the energy requirement for large population. But then again it creates environmental issues like pollution, scarcity of sources, energy imbalance, health hazards from the harmful gases and chemical released from nuclear plants. Renewable energy is a solution to all these problem as it is free and pollution free. But the construction and installation may effect environment to some extent. of these In this work impact of solar panels on the environment is discussed with its positive and negative impact and also various mounting condition is studied. The temperature of both roof mounted and ground mounted is studied and its effecton open circuit voltage and short circuit current is also analysed. It is found that there is a rise in panel temperature by 2°C to 3 °C more at roof mounted condition.
