With the rapid increase of wind power installed capacity, the current carrying capacity of wind power grid-connected lines is relatively insufficient. Dynamic line rating (DLR) technology is widely used to improve the current-carrying capacity of the line. This paper introduces DLR technology into wind power integration research to improve grid-connected line utilization. Due to the meteorological correlation between grid-connected lines and wind farms, the application of DLR technology in the field of wind power integration has a significant effect. The wind power acceptance capacity of the grid-connected lines with the net present value (NPV) method as the evaluation index and the temperature as the limiting condition is analyzed. The simulation results show that after the adoption of DLR technology, the wind farm income has been significantly improved and the wind power curtailment rate has also decreased.
