Due to the increasing load power and its flexible spatiotemporal transfer characteristics, internet data centers (IDC) can participate in power system planning and operation as a kind of demand response resource. In this paper, IDC spatiotemporal load regulation potentials modeling method is presented and applied in wind power fluctuation suppression. Firstly, the IDC load regulation model is constructed with the constraints of safe and reliable operation of servers and quality of service of network requests. The IDC load power regulation can be utilized by the allocation and delay of interactive and batch request. Then, it is applied to suppress wind power fluctuations, the economic scheduling strategy with the objective of cost minimizing is proposed. Case study shows the effectiveness of this method.
