This paper proposes a nonvolatile optical signal processing structure based on phase change material (PCM) Sb 2 Se 3 and Mach–Zehnder interferometer (MZI), which can achieve arbitrary rotation of optical special unitary group of degree two (SU(2)) by adjusting the area ratio of the crystalline and amorphous parts on two fixed-length PCMs embedded on the MZI, and can achieve an all-optical splitter with arbitrary splitting ratio by configuring one fixed-length PCM.
