A method for determining the main statistical characteristics of frequency-selective channels with fading in conditions of low energy of a radio link is considered. Statistical properties of over-the-horizon communication channels are studied based on experimental measurements. The results of processing probing OFDM (Orthogonal frequency division multiplexing) symbols for various propagation paths and weather-time conditions of the test system operation are presented.
