A very important issue in the development process of our country is the aging of the population. With the progress of society and technology, computer functions are becoming more and more abundant, communication technology is improving, and remote care monitoring systems arise. In order to solve the problem that the increasing number of elderly people makes their demand for long-term care gradually increase, this study based on the performance index of elderly care monitoring system, the composition structure and selection of DSP system and the D-SCT image processing of the care monitoring system, the system design and implementation of the elderly care monitoring system from the hardware and software system and the communication protocol. The final system experiments show that the safety factor of DSP-based elderly care monitoring system is as high as 1432, and the average safety factor of CTR and CBS systems is 166, so DSP is more suitable for designing elderly care monitoring system and can provide a safer and more effective monitoring system for elderly care.
