This paper presents a printed antenna for millimeter (mmWave) applications. The antenna is formed by a slotted rectangular patch and printed crossed dipoles, and fed by a quarter-wavelength transmission line. The structure size is only 11×15×5mm 3 . To retain the antenna’s performance specifications, a partial ground plane was used. With an efficiency of ~95% and a gain of ~5 dBi, this setup enables omnidirectional circular polarization at a frequency of 35 GHz. From the application viewpoint, the proposed design is highly suitable for wireless surveillance in IOT applications due to its omnidirectional radiation pattern.
