The development of the power industry cannot be separated from the continuous updating and improvement of power equipment, which includes the maintenance and overhaul of transformers and other power equipment. Traditional transmission and distribution equipment maintenance has certain time limitations and is not conducive to rapid elimination of defects. In order to improve the quality and reliability of transformers, it is necessary to achieve effective monitoring of transformer defects by means of assembly. This paper investigates the development of a transformer abnormality detection and monitoring system using wireless communication technology, which allows the production process to be displayed on the console in real time and the corresponding data to be sent to the control center via the client. This paper analyzes and proposes a strategy for the hidden quality problems in the transformer installation process, and realizes a RM and defect detection system for transformer assembly, which enables real-time monitoring and defect detection of transformers, while the operation interface can be displayed directly on the computer screen, making it easy to view and analyze the working status of the transformer after installation and improving work efficiency. This paper adopts computer and network technology to improve the quality control of transformer assembly production, analyzes the problems in the process of transformer assembly inspection, and proposes the design of a RM and defect detection system for transformer assembly. Through the above analysis of the working principle and application examples of the RM and defect detection system for transformer assembly, the application of RM and defect detection system for transformer assembly process and rapid fault detection can be realized, which improves the quality control effect and work efficiency in transformer assembly and achieves the purpose of saving production cost and improving product quality. It will greatly promote the development of the transformer manufacturing industry, and has a very important role in the economic development of the power industry.
