The range of motion of the shoulder joint can not only evaluate the joint injury of patients but also play a guiding role in the rehabilitation of patients. In this paper, a shoulder joint angle measurement system based on a single attitude sensor is developed to evaluate the range of motion of the shoulder joint. The system includes an attitude sensor and PC software. The attitude sensor collects the Euler angle data of the upper arm and transmits the data through Bluetooth to the PC software for analysis and calculation. This paper proposes a shoulder joint angle measurement method based on a single attitude sensor. The principle of measuring the motion angle of the shoulder joint with a single attitude sensor is described in detail by establishing the corresponding mathematical model through the Euler angle. The experimental results show that the shoulder joint motion angle measurement error is ±2.5°, which can be applied to the actual measurement.
