Because of the COVID19 epidemic, 2020 became chaotic and unstable, and the Internet era was brought into a historic turning point. The Bilibili video website is currently the largest youth sub-cultural network community in Mainland China. It has been dominated by users from 1990 to 2009 and is called China's 'Generation Z'. This article uses this online platform to investigate the attributes of the participating groups, their preferences for guqin, the motivation and purpose of learning guqin, and the content of appreciation and preferences. From two aspects: degreeselection and content (type)selection, the researcher analyzes the aesthetic trend of the user group of Bilibili website regarding guqin music culture, inordertounderstand the role and status of guqin art in modern life, and its future development direction and type status.
