V svoji diplomski nalogi sem se posvetila razvoju kadrov v eni od slovenskih bank. Znanje in usposobljenost zaposlenih postajata konkurenčni prednosti vsake uspešne organizacije, še posebej bank, kjer se konkurenčna tekma stopnjuje v vključevanju v svetovne procese. Diplomsko delo je sestavljeno iz treh delov. V prvem delu so na splošno predstavljene naslednje teme: izobraževanje in usposabljanje, pomen vseživljenjskega učenja in interna usposabljanja v organizaciji. Drugi del je namenjen predstavitvi banke X. X., d. d., in funkcije sektorja človeških virov. V zadnjem delu sem predstavila trenutno stanje in možnosti za razvoj v prihodnje. V svoji diplomski nalogi sem želela predvsem ugotoviti, kakšne možnosti napredovanja in razvoja karier imajo zaposleni v banki in kako se s tem področjem spopadajo v banki X. X., d. d. Moje ugotovitve so precej presenetljive, saj sem prišla do spoznanja, da je v banki za zaposlene zelo dobro poskrbljeno. In my dissertation I devoted my research to human resource management in one of the bank in Slovenija. Knowledge and qualification of employees are becoming advantage of every successful organization, especially banks, where competitive race is increasing by incorporation into the world processes. The work consist of three parts. In the first part are generally introduced education and training , the meaning of lifelong learning and internal training in organization. In the second part is introduction of bank X. X., d. d., and function of Human Resources Department in a bank. In the last part of my dissertation I introduce the current situation and present some options for development in the near future. Through my research I tried to discover which opportunities for promotion and career development are offered to employees in the bank and how they deal with these matters. I was rather surprised, when I realized that bank X. X., d. d. treats its employees very well. Nowadays we could not say that this practice in widespread.
