This paper presents a new approach to solve the flexible distribution system reconfiguration (DSR) problem. Based on graph theory and fast topology recognition technology, a fast network topology identification method is proposed to tackle the network radiality constraint and applied to the DSR problem. Numerical simulations are tested in the real 59-node distribution system and simulations results show that the proposed method can effectively solve the DSR problem.
