Using three waves of longitudinal data collected at 18-, 24- and 36 months between 2016-2021 from 138 children who completed at least 2 of the 3 visits, this study will identify whether there are differences in parent reports of Executive Functioning as a function of language exposure. Language exposure is measured via the LEAT (D’Anda et al., 2016) and parent report of executive functioning with the BRIEF-P (Gioia et al., 2003). We will examine whether there are differences at 24 and 36 months and performance on cognitive flexibility tasks at 18-months and 24-months predict performance at BRIEF-P at 24- or 36-month and vary as a function of language exposure.
