Highlights •ZSM-5/SiC foam for HDPE catalytic pyrolysis is 37 times more stable than pellets.•Increased zeolite coating layer thickness causes inferior catalyst stability.•Increased silica-to-alumina ratio lowers catalytic activity but improves stability.•Lower space velocity improves catalytic activity and stability.•Structured catalyst exhibited slight performance decline after 5 regeneration cycles.
